Data Deletion Instructions

Effective June 1, 2026. How to request deletion of account, integration, Meta, QuickBooks, Plaid, and other connected-service data associated with Trades Operator.

This page explains how to request deletion of data associated with Trades Operator, including account data, integration data, Meta/Facebook data, QuickBooks data, Plaid data, and other connected-service data.

Trades Operator is operated by Trades Operator, LLC ("Trades Operator," "we," "us," or "our").

1. How to Request Data Deletion

To request deletion of your data, email:

Use the subject line:

Data Deletion Request

Please include:

  • Your name
  • Your business name
  • The email address associated with your Trades Operator account
  • The type of data you want deleted
  • Any relevant integration, such as Meta, Facebook, Instagram, QuickBooks, Plaid, Google, Stripe, or another connected service
  • Whether you are requesting deletion of your user profile, company account data, integration data, or specific records

We may need to verify your identity or authority before processing the request.

If you use Trades Operator through your employer or another business, we may refer your request to the account owner or administrator.

2. Deleting Your Trades Operator Account Data

You may request deletion of account-related data, including:

  • User profile information
  • Login/account information
  • Business profile information
  • Customer records
  • Job records
  • Estimates
  • Invoices
  • Messages
  • Files
  • Notes
  • Reports
  • Integration data
  • Other records stored in Trades Operator

Some data may not be eligible for immediate deletion if it must be retained for legal, accounting, billing, tax, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, audit, backup, or compliance purposes.

3. Disconnecting Integrations

You may disconnect supported integrations inside Trades Operator or through the third-party provider's authorization settings.

Disconnecting an integration generally stops future syncing, but it may not automatically delete historical records already synced into Trades Operator.

To delete previously synced records, submit a deletion request to hello@tradesoperator.com.

4. Meta, Facebook, and Instagram Data Deletion

If you connected a Meta, Facebook, Instagram, Meta Business, Facebook Page, Instagram account, ad account, or lead form integration, you may request deletion of Meta-related data.

To request deletion, email:

Meta Data Deletion Request

Please include:

  • Your name
  • Your business name
  • The email address associated with your Trades Operator account
  • The connected Facebook Page, Instagram account, Meta Business account, or ad account, if known
  • A clear statement that you want Meta-related data deleted from Trades Operator

You may also remove Trades Operator's access through your Meta, Facebook, or Instagram account settings.

After we receive and verify your request, we will delete eligible Meta Platform Data from Trades Operator unless retention is required or reasonably necessary for legal compliance, security, billing, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, audit logs, backups, or platform compliance.

5. QuickBooks Data Deletion

If you connected QuickBooks, you may disconnect QuickBooks from Trades Operator and request deletion of QuickBooks-related data.

QuickBooks-related data may include:

  • Company information
  • Customers
  • Vendors
  • Items
  • Accounts
  • Invoices
  • Estimates
  • Payments
  • Deposits
  • Expenses
  • Bills
  • Tax records
  • Related accounting data

QuickBooks Data Deletion Request

Please include:

  • Your name
  • Your business name
  • The email address associated with your Trades Operator account
  • The QuickBooks company connected to Trades Operator, if known
  • A clear statement that you want QuickBooks-related data deleted from Trades Operator

Some accounting records may be retained where required or reasonably necessary for legal, tax, billing, audit, dispute-resolution, security, or compliance purposes.

6. Plaid and Financial Account Data Deletion

If you connected a financial account through Plaid, you may request deletion of Plaid-related data from Trades Operator.

Plaid-related data may include:

  • Account holder information
  • Account names
  • Account types
  • Balances
  • Transaction history
  • Merchant information
  • Recurring transaction indicators
  • Bank connection metadata
  • Other financial account data authorized through Plaid

Plaid Data Deletion Request

Please include:

  • Your name
  • Your business name
  • The email address associated with your Trades Operator account
  • The financial institution or account connection, if known
  • A clear statement that you want Plaid-related data deleted from Trades Operator

You may also disconnect financial accounts through Trades Operator, through your financial institution authorization controls, or through consumer tools made available by Plaid.

Some records may be retained where required or reasonably necessary for legal compliance, accounting, tax, billing, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, backups, audit logs, or legitimate business operations.

7. Google, Advertising, Payment, and Other Integration Data

If you connected another integration, such as Google Ads, Google Business Profile, Google Analytics, Stripe, a CRM, a field service platform, a calendar, a file storage tool, a tax provider, a mapping provider, or another third-party service, you may request deletion of related synced data.

  • Your name
  • Your business name
  • The email address associated with your Trades Operator account
  • The integration involved
  • The specific data you want deleted, if known

8. Data We May Retain

Deletion requests are subject to legal, operational, and security limitations.

We may retain certain information where required or reasonably necessary for:

  • Legal compliance
  • Tax records
  • Accounting records
  • Billing records
  • Payment records
  • Fraud prevention
  • Security monitoring
  • Abuse prevention
  • Dispute resolution
  • Contract enforcement
  • Audit trails
  • Backup and disaster recovery
  • Compliance with third-party platform requirements
  • Protecting the rights, safety, and security of Trades Operator, our users, customers, or others

Where possible, we will delete, de-identify, aggregate, or restrict use of data that no longer needs to remain identifiable.

9. Backup Copies

Deleted data may remain in encrypted backups, logs, or disaster recovery systems for a limited period before being overwritten or deleted through normal retention cycles.

We do not use backup copies for active business purposes unless needed for recovery, security, compliance, or legal obligations.

10. Response Timing

We will review deletion requests after receipt and verification.

We aim to respond within 30 days unless a shorter period is required by applicable law or a longer period is reasonably necessary due to request complexity, verification, legal obligations, or technical limitations.

11. Requests From End Customers

If you are a customer of a business that uses Trades Operator, please contact that business directly for requests related to your service history, appointments, invoices, payments, communications, or other records.

Trades Operator processes many records on behalf of its business customers. In those cases, the business using Trades Operator controls the records and is responsible for responding to end-customer requests.
